Money
* It is a material world we live in, yes, and money is the way we live, but if you look around you, look where our lifestyle has gotten us. Global warming, bankruptcies, high gas prices, food prices. It all has to do with money. Money gets us many things. Not happiness, or true happiness, at least. Sure, you’re happy when you’re able to save up for something you wanted, that’s true. Truehappiness is found in the REAL things in life. Everyone’s happy when they wake up and the sun is shining. When flowers are blooming, when the leafs are changing color. Being with your friends and family. Knowing people care for you, and caring for them in turn. That is true happiness, and on that, there is absolutely no price.
So, to answer your question: Money can bring happiness, for a brief andfleeting moment. But it is a shallow, and material happiness.
True happiness is in the things we take for granted everyday.
They also told us “Money can’t buy everything” and they were wrong about that too. True, maybe it can’t buy love, happiness, or peace of mind, but it can buy a political office, and once you have that the other pieces fall into place.
Money is a tool. It can purchase manythings, but not always what the holder needs or wants. Sometimes no amount of money is enough or a seller simply won’t sell. In addition, if the « wrong » person has the money, it won’t buy anything. I’ve seen people turned away from restaurants and other places of business for being different somehow, despite the fact that they had plenty of money with them. Prejudice can erase the value of money forthe holder of it. Thus, money cannot always buy everything and likely cannot buy some things at all.

With money you can buy a bed, but not sleep.
With money you can buy a book, but not knowledge.

Withmoney you can buy a position, but not respect.
With money you can buy blood, but not life.
With money you can buy sex, but not love.
I was once asked . if I have a choice to be poor and happy or rich and unhappy which would I choose.I immediately replied to be rich and unhappy.WHY? when you have been pushed around because you are poor.when you have been abused because you are poor.whenyou work hard and at the end of the day they pay you nothing.when you see the ability your children have to succeed but you cant help them because you are poor.when landlord dissed and you cant retaliate becaues you are poor.when you cant even get sex because the ladies think you are not good enough for them because you are poor. then you stop to wonder.I never have to wonder too much becauseeverything I mentioned is of personal experience.when you are poor you barely have any choice but when you have money you can at least choose the best for yourself and your family and it put you in a better position to help others.
« Can money always buy everything you want? »
Money does allow someone to buy nice things, jewels for example. However, money can’t buy everything, because it can’t buylove or happiness.
When you walk down the street you see a lot of things which cost a fortune. Some people have enough wealth to buy a country, some can buy a town. To my mind, moneyis not equal across different classes in a social hierarchy. I can’t help thinking it is unfair. Although we can see class distinctions with respect to money, these classes are equal on some level. For instance one of the richest people in the world can’t buy love, health, delight or peace.
In my opinion, money isn’t everything. From the moment we are confronted with a problem we tend to…
